1. About Pantria

Pantria is a Canadian progressive web application ("Service") operated at pantria.ca. Pantria is designed to help households track kitchen inventory, reduce food waste, manage expiry dates, scan groceries, plan meals, generate shopping lists, and find the best grocery prices at Canadian stores.

Pantria is currently in a pre-launch phase. The Service is not yet publicly available. By submitting your email address, you are joining an early access waitlist and consenting to receive a one-time notification when Pantria launches.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing pantria.ca or submitting your email address through our early access form, you confirm that you are at least 14 years of age and that you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this site or submit your information.

3. Eligibility

Pantria is intended for use by individuals aged 14 and older. By using this site, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 14, please do not submit your information or use this site.

Use of Pantria is currently intended for residents of Canada, though access from other countries is not restricted at this time.

4. Pre-Launch Waitlist

By submitting your email address on our early access page, you expressly consent, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), to receive a notification from Pantria when the Service becomes available.

We will not send you marketing emails, newsletters, or third-party promotions without your separate and express consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at privacy@pantria.ca.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on pantria.ca, including but not limited to the Pantria name, logo, design, text, graphics, and code, is the exclusive property of Pantria and is protected under applicable Canadian and international intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our prior written permission.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use pantria.ca for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Use automated means to access, scrape, or collect data from this site
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of this site or its underlying systems
• Submit false or misleading information
• Interfere with the proper functioning of this site or its infrastructure
• Use this site in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our systems or servers
• Violate any applicable local, provincial, federal, or international law or regulation

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Pantria is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the availability, accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the site or its content.

As Pantria is currently in a pre-launch phase, features, timelines, and availability are subject to change without notice. We do not guarantee that the Service will launch on any particular date or include any specific feature.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pantria and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or the early access waitlist.

In no event shall our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100.00).

9. Third-Party Links

This site may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify waitlist subscribers by email.

Your continued use of pantria.ca following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
